AWARE Specialist

WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE:

A course for everyone who cares about our ocean environment and how to improve and preserve the beauty and health. This is a great class for families to take together. This course is for both divers and non-divers who want to make a difference in marine conservation.

• Minimum Age: None

• Prerequisites: None, BUT an interest in the aquatic world.

COURSE SCHEDULE:​

• Max Participants: 8

• Start time: 8AM (daily) or by appointment

• Location: Two-way Video-Conference (e.g. Zoom…) or Monterey, CA.

• Duration:

  • eLearning: complete BEFORE in-person session: 2-4 hours

  • Interactive Workshop: 1-2 hours

WHAT YOU LEARN:

Get the PADI AWARE Specialty Certification. Independent study eLearning then a fun Interactive “10 Tips to Save the Ocean” Workshop with Bruce in which you learn about actionable opportunities to make a positive impact for the underwater world. No dives required. You’ll learn how to: be Ocean AWARE; to respect marine wildlife; become an Eco-Tourist; and become an ocean steward to ensure its health and vitality for future generations.​
