PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider

This is an excellent course for scuba divers, boat crew, lifeguards, freedivers, mermaids or anyone who spends time in and around the water.

COURSE SCHEDULE:

  • ​eLearning: complete BEFORE in-person session: 2-4 hours

  • Practical session: 1-4 hours


WHAT YOU LEARN:

Get the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty Certification. Independent study eLearning then Practical Applications with Bruce. No dives required. Knowing how and when to administer emergency oxygen is a valuable skill to have in a dive emergency. You will become proficient disassembling and assembling oxygen equipment for quick response in an emergency. Bruce will teach you: how to deploy a non-rebreather mask and a demand inhalator valve for a breathing diver: how to attach a rescue breathing mask with oxygen for a nonbreathing diver; and the optional, but highly valuable, how to use a manually triggered resuscitator valve for a nonbreathing diver.​​​
