PADI IDC Staff Instructor

Join Best SCUBA as Bruce guides you through the techniques to actively participate in PADI IDCs as you help prepare candidates to take the PADI Instructor Exam and to be able to independently train PADI Assistant Instructors. This is your course to become a mentor and influencer to the next generation of PADI Instructors!

COURSE SCHEDULE:

Our schedule includes a two-day Pre-assessment session before our regularly scheduled IDCs as well as attending an entire IDC. The Pre-assessment often is completed the weekend immediately preceding the IDC; a portion of this can be completed through remote learning – call Bruce to discuss options. WHAT YOU LEARN:​​

Learn to independently teach AI’s, learn to be part of an IDC Instructional Team, and learn how to coach, mentor and critique PADI Professional candidates. As an IDC Staff Instructor candidate, you will learn directly from our award winning PADI Course Director, gaining insights into the nuances of effective instructor development. You will audit a full IDC to increase your familiarity with the entire curriculum components; you will practice evaluating and providing constructive feedback to IDC candidates. The Course focuses on refining your teaching skills, enhancing your understanding of PADI standards, and preparing you to play a pivotal role in shaping competent and confident PADI Instructors.
