EXPERIENCE SCHEDULE:

This Experience will be conducted in conjunction with the IDCs and through regular one-on-one mentoring sessions with Bruce, our Gold PADI Course Director – contact him to start this process; see the Instructor Development Course schedule here.​​

WHAT YOU LEARN:​​ ​

Work with Bruce, our globally experienced Course Director, as he conducts an IDC. Actively participate in all aspects of the IDC as he shares his insights into what it takes to successfully manage the IDC program. Attendance is required in all IDC sessions to earn PADI IDC Staffing Credits towards PADI Master Instructor.

Are you already an IDC Staff Instructor looking to help train the next generation of great instructors? If you enjoy: seeing IDC candidates succeed, conducting professional development, and are working toward your Master Instructor rating, this program can elevate your skills and enhance your confidence as an AI Trainer. You'll  become more familiar with the nuances of the AI curriculum, and refine your evaluation scoring to align with PADI Examiners. You’ll also learn effective coaching and critiquing techniques while earning IDC Staffing Credits.

If you’re considering becoming a Course Director, this program is the perfect stepping stone. You’ll develop best practices for marketing, organizing, and conducting IDCs, along with gaining confidence in leading workshops and mastering the curriculum. By honing these skills, you’ll be ready to organize and conduct your own IDCs. Participation in this program is also a prerequisite for attending the Best SCUBA CDTC Prep Program.
